BreakPoint, 2020

Installation for a viewer and 100 mirrors.​

During the first Covid-19 lockdown in Israel, I had a chance to spend time with myself, which I found to be a challenging/difficult encounter. . I chose the digital screen over the mirror, dodged the silences, and instead consumed data, series, and reports. I created BreakPoint, 'an installation for a viewer and 100 mirrors', in an attempt to hold on to the thread of artistic routine, and create a space for a meeting in the no man's land between what was, and what will be.

The work was displayed in Habait Theatre, Tel Aviv, and was selected to open the Feel Beit Gallery in Mekudeshet, Jerusalem.
